i do finish things!
it is finished! the summer lace shawlette, made from dream in color smooshy sock yarn. i used one skein, (450 yards) size 7 us needles and it took about 2 weeks. the color in the wip pic is the best representation of the true color. i loved this project and you can link it here.

in fact, i loved it so much i started another one.
this is malabrigo lace weight in jacinto colorway. this is so wonderful i need a cigarette after an evening of knitting. it feels like
butter without the grease. i'm using the yarn double strand and plan to use 3 skeins. i made the shoulders wider by doing more increases than the pattern called for. size 7 us and at $8.80 a skein it's a cheap date.
another one hits the frog pond! i decided i wanted to use larger needles so i ripped. the yarn is dazed by feza, $2.00 a ball in the bargin bin at my favorite yarn house of ill repute. the pattern was given to me by a lovely lady i met there one saturday who was knitting charity shawls. i don't know where she found it so i'm sorry i don't know how to share it with you. i haven't restarted this cuz i'm so in lust with jacinto.
the second sock has been cast on and will be finished when my malabrigo affair is over.
six mason-dixon bibs (3 pictured here) for ella made from sugar and cream and peaches and cream yarn. while ya can't beat the price this yarn is not fun. too dry.
and last is the lamb's pride, sable colorway, a knitting pure a knitting pure and simple top down v-neck cardigan. cast on many moons ago and has just been neglected. i will finish but only the shadow knows when.
this not a complete list of wips but today darling ella, her mom, sara, my mom and i are having a picture made of the four generations. so i am off now to pretty up.
